Glimpse of Spring

Painting - Mixed Media
Description
Recently I have been experimenting with a combination of several media, always looking for ways of getting new textures. This vertical triptych reminds me of the tall spring flower stalks which grow in our garden and tell us that blossoms will soon be here.

Carolyn, Congratulations on your WFS Elvis Pick! Wonderfully creative work! In miniature, this looks like tall flowers growing alongside a wood-sided building. L&F

Hopefully they will be fine---they are pretty tough. Wish I had some from my grandmother's old farm.

Carolyn---beautiful work. Love the colors. Spring is here is full bloom a month early--had hard freeze last night---all seems okay---I hope. lvf

Thank you very much, Nava! My iris plants were up about 5" before winter storm "Donna" dumped 8" of snow on them. They are buried somewhere under all that white stuff!
