Title
Rooted in Time
Artist
Carolyn Rosenberger
Medium
Painting - Watercolor
Description
As with many of my paintings, this scene is from my imagination and is based upon the rural area where I live. The torn edges of this triptych emphasize the fact that nature is not perfect or symmetrical. This painting is mounted on clayboard, varnished, and the edges have been hand torn to eliminate the need for frame or glass.

Carolyn, the deckled-edge is just right for this storytelling image of soil and roots, stones and branches. Lovely colors - favorite!

Lovely, interesting texture and is a great decision to make a triptych and stretch it out! Congrats on the honor of juried acceptance into this latest show. v
