About Carolyn Rosenberger
Watercolors have always fascinated me, as have textures. So I sometimes combine rice paper or charcoal on my paintings. This adds an effect that I cannot achieve in any other way. The theme of nature with which my paintings deal is sometimes representational, other times more impressionistic, and occasionally abstract. The beautiful countryside of Waupaca County provides me with an endless amount of inspirational subject matter. Can almost smell the apple pie already! Nice color on this fine watercolor imagery. Love the blending of colors and the asymmetrical design or outline of the blossoms against the dark background. Beautiful!
