It is that time of the year when I am thinking about Christmas trees and pine boughs, and I decided to do a colorful pine cone composition in watercolor.
About Carolyn Rosenberger
Watercolors have always fascinated me, as have textures. So I sometimes combine rice paper or charcoal on my paintings. This adds an effect that I cannot achieve in any other way. The theme of nature with which my paintings deal is sometimes representational, other times more impressionistic, and occasionally abstract. The beautiful countryside of Waupaca County provides me with an endless amount of inspirational subject matter. Our beautiful home and studio near Iola, Wisconsin was my own design and includes gallery space and work areas where I can give individual instruction.
