About Carolyn Rosenberger
Watercolors have always fascinated me, as have textures. So I sometimes combine rice paper or charcoal on my paintings. This adds an effect that I cannot achieve in any other way. The theme of nature with which my paintings deal is sometimes representational, other times more impressionistic, and occasionally abstract. The beautiful countryside of Waupaca County provides me with an endless amount of inspirational subject matter. Our beautiful home and studio near Iola, Wisconsin was my own design and includes gallery space and work areas where I can give individual instruction. Very beautiful art work, and I bet it would be cool to canoe through the center of this big rock and then use it as a frame for something on shore! Love the textures as you can actually almost feel the sand on your feet strolling the beach! Always amazed at how trees can grow out of rock, but they surely do, and it adds a very nice touch to landscaping. Fave and Vote
