About Carolyn Rosenberger
Watercolors have always fascinated me, as have textures. So I sometimes combine rice paper or charcoal on my paintings. This adds an effect that I cannot achieve in any other way. The theme of nature with which my paintings deal is sometimes representational, other times more impressionistic, and occasionally abstract. The beautiful countryside of Waupaca County provides me with an endless amount of inspirational subject matter. Our beautiful home and studio near Iola, Wisconsin was my own design and includes gallery space and work areas where I can give individual instruction. This is truly a great historical and beautifully done depiction of the older farms and the old barns and silos. You did a splendid job on this painting, as you always do! I can almost visualize the drive way coming up to the barn on the left with your family home on the right of the drive. Brings back some great memories.
